Camera Angles and Movement
There are a range of camera angles used, most commonly the mid shot. However the close up shots are most effective as they seem the most realistic. Through the close up shots, you can see the facial expressions of the characters and all detail to mise en scene such as make up and special effects.
Also commonly used is the long shot for establishing the location or scene. This allows the audience to enter the world of the trailer - set in an urban location. Overall the camera movement is quite basic but this is to demonstrate the social realism aspect of an urban drama. The most effective camera shot is the extreme close up of the characters eyes, which shows anger - we hope to recreate this in our trailer.

Sound
The non-diegetic soundtrack is an urban grime track. The music does relate to to theme of the movie and trailer because it is set in an urban location in London and it does contribute to pace and rhythm of the trailer. The soundtrack is fast pace and sets the tone of the trailer. In regards to the voice over, the mode of address of Sam is aggressive and dark. This relates to the character of Sam and his story in the movie. The voice over also sets the tone of the trailer as it supports the shots being shown.
Mise en Scene
The mise en scene of the trailer supports the theme and codes and conventions of an urban drama. The mise en scene involves tracksuits, weapons, and at the location of flat estates. Drugs are also included in the trailer as this is a major part of the story, we would like to involve tracksuits in our trailer as it would support the stereotype of our main character.
Editing
The editing in the trailer is fast pace and correlates with the soundtrack. The editing is jumped cut which connotes acceleration and excitement of the movie. In post production it looks like a grey filter has been added to contribute to the urban and 'grimeyness' of the movie. we are inspired by the typography and text of the trailer.
